Forget professional consumers …. think producing consumers…
I think I’ve got something wrong with Ambisonia. Now that I think of it, it is pretty obvious.
There should not be a gap between the person listening to the surround sounds and the person producing the surround sound. Ambisonia should not target 2 different groups … the producers (the ambisonic community) and the consumers (home theatre owners). This is because the producers are as much consumers as the consumers are future-producers.
Ofcourse, Youtube knows this … their ‘moniker’ (is that what they call them?) is ‘publish yourself’ … and I think that is the right line for ambisonia … instead of what I have now which is ‘the next generation surround sound experience for the home theatre by the enthusiasts’.
